Grand Canyon South Rim

Grand Canyon South Rim is one of the most visited by the visitor, its not only because of its beauty it also has family friendly activies. South Rim has around 50 viewpoints but only 20 of which are easily accessible by vehicle.

South Rim has plenty of adventure activies to offer and even kid friendly. You can Hike, go for biking or camping. The most popalur activie is the sunset. When the park shows vivid color and breathtaking view. Mather Point is the best place in South Rim to watch sunset and sunrise.

Grand Canyon North Rim

The North Rim area of the park is located on the Kaibab Plateau and Walhalla Plateau. If you like to explore the park with less crowd North Rim is the right place. During winter months backpackers, snowshoers, and cross-country skiers are permitted to use the North Rim Campground. But road to North Rim will be closed to all vehicles

North Rim is covered with trees which makes the weather cool, even during the summer. North Rim offers a completely different view from South Rim.  There are plenty of hiking opportunities, if you like to go for challenging trails you need to choose less accessible trails.

Havasu Falls trail

Havasu Falls Trail is one of the beautiful hiking trail. You get to hike through the orange canyon and lead to the stunning Havasu Falls. The trail is about 10 miles easy-to-navigate. If you like to camp near Havasu Falls the campsite begins at the base of Havasu Falls and to the top of Mooney Falls.

Before you plan to visit Havasu Fall you need to book a 3-day permit. The park does not allow one day hikes. You can book for the permit online which is available from February through November.
