Oregon

Oregon is a state located in the Pacific Northwest region of the Western United States. Oregon is the 27th most populous state and it is the 9th largest state among 50 states in the United States. Oregon attained its statehood on 14th February 1859 and has become the 33rd state to join the union. 

The bordering states of Oregon are Washington, Nevada, Idaho, and California. It has 36 counties. And Oregon’s capital is Salem. Oregon offers many activities and has an amazing national park called Crater Lake National Park.

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park is located in southern Oregon in the United States. It was found in 1902 and it is the fifth oldest national park in the United States. Crater Lake National Park is the only national park which is located in Oregon. This park is filled with the caldera of Crater Lake, a destroyed volcano, a part of Mount Mazama, surrounded by forests and hills. 

The Americans have seen the formations that happened 7,700 years ago where the eruption that was triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Then the lake was fed by snow and rain which formed the deepest lake in the United States. Visitors, photographers, artists who come here will wonder seeing the crystal clear blue water. This is a perfect place and has breathtaking views. And the best time to visit Crater Lake National Park is during July, August, and September.
