Guadalupe Mountains National Park
Guadalupe Mountains National Park is located in the Guadalupe Mountains which is in the east of El Paso, Texas. The mountain range includes Guadalupe Peak which is the highest point in Texas at about 8,751 feet and El Capitan which is used as a landmark by the travelers and later followed by the Butterfield Overland Mail stagecoach line. You can experience the mountains and canyons, desert and dunes, amazing vistas, and night skies in this park more than any other national park.
Guadalupe Mountains National Park preserves the world’s largest Permian fossil reef, the four highest peaks in Texas, collection of flora and fauna, and the stories of the lives which are shaped through conflict, survival, and cooperation.
