Texas

Texas is a state located in the South Central region of the United States and it is the second-largest state among 50 states both by area and population. Texas attained its statehood on 29th December 1845 and has become the 28th state to join the union. The bordering states of Texas are Louisiana to the east, Arkansas to the northeast, Oklahoma to the north, and New Mexico to the west.

Texas has 254 counties. The capital of this state is Austin. There are fun things to do with family members and kids like Space Center, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Natural Bridge Caverns, etc. You can also explore forests, cultural tours, historical tours, film tours, and architecture tours. Big Bend National Park

Big Bend National Park lies in West Texas, bordering Mexico. It is a park with dark night skies and the river has a temple-like canyon in ancient limestone.  The solitary mountain range surrounded by weather-beaten desert is the home for hundreds of bird species. In the sublime southwestern, you will be able to see tenacious cacti blooming and this country is the best for the diversity of species. 

The park seems to be hot most of the time. And the perfect time to visit this park is during Spring and you can spend your holidays here. This park also offers many adventures like hiking, biking, scenic drives, stargazing, etc.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park 

Guadalupe Mountains National Park is located in the Guadalupe Mountains which is in the east of El Paso, Texas. The mountain range includes Guadalupe Peak which is the highest point in Texas at about 8,751 feet and El Capitan which is used as a landmark by the travelers and later followed by the Butterfield Overland Mail stagecoach line. You can experience the mountains and canyons, desert and dunes, amazing vistas, and night skies in this park more than any other national park. 

Guadalupe Mountains National Park preserves the world’s largest Permian fossil reef, the four highest peaks in Texas, collection of flora and fauna, and the stories of the lives which are shaped through conflict, survival, and cooperation. This national park has been the dream destination for rock climbers, hikers, etc. The park also offers many activities for the visitors. Spring is the perfect time to visit this national park.
