Arches National Park

Arches National Park is located just 5 miles north of Moab in the state of Utah. It has the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. The park has over 2,000 arches located within the park’s 76,518 acres, the park also contains an astounding variety of other geological formations. It also has Massive fins, ain’t balanced rocks, soaring pinnacles, and spires which give you an amazing experience to explore the park’s viewpoints and hiking trail.

The best time to visit Arches National Park is spring or fall. April and May are pleasant times to visit Arches park. It has a maximum temperature of 22°C/71°F and a minimum of 6°C/42°F. September and October are the fall months when the temperature becomes cooler and is perfect for hiking.

Arches National Park is a wonderland with rock formations which are the popular arches. There are plenty of things to explore in the park of deserts, short hiking trails or you can watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise. The most recommended is the 7.2-mile Devil’s Garden Loop Trail, which is the most iconic hike in the park. The trail take you to a diverse landscapes and also to several of the famous arches in the park. There are also plenty of places to visit in the park.

How to Reach Arches National Park

Arches National Park is located in southeast Utah, five miles north of Moab on US 191. Most common way to reach Arches is by car. There is no public transportation inside Arches National Park. You need to rent a car, ride a bicycle, or take a commercial tour to get inside the park. 

You can fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and then drive four hours to the park. Colorado’s Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) is serviced by several airlines and is about a two-hour drive from Arches.

Arches have spectacular views and endless adventure. If you like to visit the park for a day or for three to four day Arches has lots to offer. The park is known for its stunning sunset and sunrise.
