Yellowstone National Park

The permanent residents of this park are wild bison, elk, wolves, coyote, moose, and bears. The best time to visit this park is during summer. You can explore this park and enjoy hiking, camping, etc. You will have to stay there for almost four days to explore the park. 

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park lies very close to Yellowstone National Park and so the drive between these two parks will be easier. Grand Teton is one of the most unique parks with stunning mountains, pristine lakes, and abundant wildlife. This park has hiking trails and magnificent landscapes which is the best for photography. 

You will need at least two days to explore and enjoy this park. The best time to visit this park is from May to September. 

Arches National Park

Arches National Park is located in Utah that offers beautiful and natural sandstone arches. You will need at least two days to visit this park and it has amazing scenery which is more than enough for any park visitor. This park also has a variety of other geological formations like pinnacles, fins, balanced rocks, spires, and more which look magnificent. 

There are many hiking trails and you can take even your kids as there are short and easy hikes. The perfect time to visit this park during spring and fall. 

Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park lies in southeastern Utah. It is a unique destination that has rivers, spires, canyons, buttes, and arches. Canyonlands National Park is home to the Needles, Maze, Colorado Rivers, and Island of the Sky districts. Each and every area offers its own beautiful scenery and vastness which gives you an amazing feeling. The Island in this park offers a spectacular view.

The perfect time to visit this park is during spring and fall. Canyonlands offers many activities like camping, hiking, and more. You will need at least two days to explore this national park.

Dinosaur National Monument

Dinosaur National Monument is located in the Uinta Mountains on the border between Colorado and Utah. There are over 1,500 bones covered in the rock in Quarry Exhibit Hall. This monument also preserves the cultural histories of the thesaurus over 10,000 years. 

Dinosaur National Monument is famous for dramatic river canyons, fossil finding, and many more activities like hiking, rafting, camping, etc. The canyons and deserts, rivers, and mountains offer shelter for coyotes, lions, peregrine falcons, and white-tailed prairie dogs. The best time to visit is during January and July. And you will at least need two days to explore this place. 

Craters of the Moon National Monument

Craters of the Moon National Monument is located in Idaho. It is the vast ocean where the lava flow reaches southeastward from the Pioneer Mountains and it comes with scattered islands of cinder cones and sagebrush. This national monument has weird and scenic landscapes and you can explore this place in two days. They also offer activities like hiking, camping, etc.
